Returning to our first love as Christians is an invitation to experience the fullness of God’s love and the abundant life He offers. It involves remembering the grace of our salvation, seeking a restored relationship with God, surrendering to His love, and cultivating spiritual disciplines that draw us closer to Him. Let us heed the words of Jesus in Revelation 2:
“But you walked away from your first love—why? What’s going on with you, anyway? Do you have any idea how far you’ve fallen? A Lucifer fall! Turn back! Recover your dear early love. No time to waste, for I’m well on my way to removing your light from the golden circle.”
May we rekindle our first love and walk in the joy, peace, and transformative power that only comes from a deep, intimate relationship with our loving Creator.
